Injured cat found

A black and white cat has been found by Les and Monique Berger near 1257 Ahuroa road. The cat had been injured, it seemed likely that it was hit by a car perhaps a few days ago.

In another post, this may or may not be related….

For the last few days there has been a Little black and white cat by Ahuroa Valley Road corner, near the bridge, it has been in the same spot morning and evening and is looking increasingly more and more forlorn. Is this someone’s cat that just likes to hang out there or is it lost or been abandoned?

I would go rescue it but we have two large dogs that won’t be any good with a cat, so if someone could let me know if it’s their cat and it’s ok or could someone go and rescue it if it’s not, it looks pretty miserable.

Bus Driver – wanted for Ahuroa School

Bus Driver: 

Monday – Friday, 14 hours per week, term time only.  Morning Run: Puhoi to Ahuroa (7.30-8.00am).  Afternoon Run : West Coast Rd loop (2.30-3pm), Ahuroa to Puhoi (3pm-3.30pm) $20/hour.  A current  P endorsement an advantage – however school willing to pay for this if necessary.

Our bus is a 29 seater, so relatively small. Can be driven on a Class 1 car license.

2 female Kune kune’s

I have 2 female Kune kune’s who are really friendly, very cuddly and in need of a new home. We are going overseas and so sadly cant take them with us. If anyone is able to give them a new home or even has any ideas of who might be able to offer them a good home then please call me – Jo on 094225222 or email me at [email protected].

The girls do need to go together, they do not bite, fight or chase anything. They are very used to all animals.
