Missing cat – Hawkins Rd.

Hi can everyone please keep an eye out for our boy Athens (near Hawkins Rd).

He took off with the hail today. He has never been outside at night before, will be terrified. Very long and lean and quite shy with strangers.

Thank you, The Soffe – home ph: 094225221

Significant ‘Ahuroa’ historic content has been recovered.

Dear Grapevine,

Andy Shackleton has been very busy recently digging through some of the old Ahuroa website and has pulled a heap of valuable historic content which had become lost along the way. This is an absolute treasure trove of locally relevant, historic content which he’s managed to recover. (WELL DONE ANDY!). The content was originally curated / compiled by Cally & Greg Whitham. There really is a lot of interesting content which is well worth a read, so please do visit the site and take a look.

There are also photo albums from Andy & Kerry’s time in Ahuroa (1997 – 2013), with more to come.

Andy is hosting this on his own site now, and we’ll provide a direct, permanent redirection to this content from the Grapevine.
https://www.ahuroa.nz/history/ – will get you there.

I for one am very grateful that Andy has found, and recovered this content.

Thanks, regards,

Chris.
