Ahuroa Hall Christmas Party 8th December – Pot Luck

Hi All,
The Ahuroa Hall Advisory Committee are throwing a Christmas Pot Luck Party this year and everyone is invited!
We are getting a Christmas Tree put up in the Hall, decorated kindly by the kids at the school. 
We are getting a visit from Santa and the Local fire brigade. 
We are providing a free BBQ with sausages and also some free ice cream cones for the kids!
All you have to do is bring a named and wrapped present for any children you bring – to go under the tree for Santa to hand out.  And perhaps bring a potluck salad or bread to share.  Make sure to bring some plates and cutlery too.
We are starting this end of year celebration around 3:30pm on Saturday 8th December, so make sure you come around (with or without kids) for a bit of fun and frivolity to get into the Christmas cheer!

The Christmas, Good as New, Pre-Loved, Kids Market – Sat 01 Dec – Orewa Community Centre

The Christmas, Good as New, Pre-Loved, Kids Market will be happening on Saturday 01 December at the Orewa Community Centre.

We would be very grateful if you could share the event with parents and colleagues, maybe include us in your newsletter, events page or Facebook page.

The market is a fun morning for the whole family, a great opportunity for families to on sell things their kids have outgrown and for new families to pick up bargains on clothes, toys, books, games and nursery furniture.

The market has been going for 8 years and people come from far and wide.

Casino Night at the Puhoi Sports Club this Saturday

What happens in Vegas……..comes to Puhoi!!

Join us for an evening of Cocktails, Casino games, prizes and more!

$25 per ticket (includes $1,000,000 worth of casino chips).

Delicious complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Doors and bar open at 6:30pm, tables open 7pm.

Tickets available at the club from 5:30pm Friday evening or at the door on Saturday evening.

Funds raised will go toward the much needed maintenance of the club building.

Everyone is invited, so come along and meet some new people or catch up with friends. This was really successful the last time we ran it.

  • Dinner and Fireworks Night: Saturday November 3rd 2018 – Ahuroa Hall (1345 Ahuroa Rd (next to the school))
  • Doors open from 5pm
  • Bring a Plate to share for dinner and/or dessert
  • Bring your own plates and cutlery to use
  • Fireworks display will start when dark
  • We will provide some fireworks and fun for kids (you can bring your own fireworks too)
