Update on the cow found near Martin Access Rd

Hi,

Last night a cow was found wandering on West Coast Rd, near Martin Access Rd. For safety it was moved into the yards near the junction. The owner has yet to be found.

The details on the ear tags:

Yellow tag number: #760
Left ear has a tear.

Here are some photos of the lovely girl…

If you think you might know who she belongs to, can you please help by making contact with them and asking if it’s theirs? It is not one of the Brady’s, or Nader’s.

Please collect if yours as we have a bull in our paddock and it looks like the heifer is in heat. Might create some problems with the bull.

Heifer found on West Coast Road

Just found a heifer (black and white) with a yellow tag on West Coast Road and close to the entrance of Martin Access Road. We have chased her into Alastair’s shed yard on the corner. Please collect if yours as we have a bull in our paddock and it looks like the heifer is in heat. Might create some problems with the bull.

Puhoi Village Market is back on Sunday 28 Jan

After a lovely break over the Xmas and New Year the Puhoi Village Market is back on Sunday 28 Jan, 9am – 1pm.

This Market is offering a Car Boot Sale. We still have a couple of spaces available so if you are pondering about selling or rehoming all that stuff that is no longer useful to you, now is the time to contact us and book your spot.

Music this Market is from In2strings. Kiwi born violin virtuoso Nick Jones teams up with Pretoria’s Petrus Fourie on guitar to make up this instrumental duo.

We are also excited to introduce “Give Yoga a go” with Shelley Charlton at this Puhoi Village Market. It is Outdoor Yoga consisting of stretches, standing & balance poses, no mat or experience required. Shelley is a highly qualified instructor (as mentioned in NZ Women’s Weekly) and has introduced many absolute beginners to yoga. This class will be on the sports field 11-11:30am. No charge. For further information go to www.freeyogaonthebeach.com.

Helpers – Wanting to give back to our Community?
We need helpers to set up then pack down tables etc on our monthly Market days. One or 2 people wanted from 7.30 – 9am, then again from 1 – 2pm. We will pay a small token of $20 for the morning and $20 for the pack down stint. If you are interested / available (either as a one-off or a regular) we would be really grateful. Currently the committee are doing this as well as running stalls etc. so any help would be great.
