Catered trek

24th and 25th February 2018
All proceeds of trek go towards the Ahuroa School Hall and Play group
New properties- never been trekked over before! Ride over the Ahuroa hills, through beautiful native bush, ride to an ancient Kauri tree and get spectacular views of both coasts!
Woolshed party to follow on the Saturday night, with a lamb on the spit. Camping in horse trucks/floats in paddock by the stream (picture on registration form)
 Arrive on Saturday between 8am and 9am
 Ride out at 10am, stopping for lunch half way
 Woolshed party, from 5.30pm, BYO alcohol
 Day 2: Ride out at 9.30am, a shorter ride than Saturday
 Lunches both days will be driven to the lunch site by vehicle (lunch provided)
 Bring your own wash down water for horses, but there is a stream around the campsite that can
be used- and good for a cool off for humans at the end of the day!
 Information packs will be sent out via email on full payment, so please make sure you include
email address on registration form
