Afternoon Tea at Highfield Farm:  A charity event to raise funds to improve the health of women and babies worldwide.

Ahuroa resident Sheila Elwell and her daughter Jo are raising funds as part of a 354-km cycling challenge through Madagascar that they will be taking part in during September 2017. They will be holding Afternoon Tea events on the 12th and 19th of March at Sheila’s farm, as part of their fundraising.
You are invited to a 5-course High Tea, for a donation of $30 per person, which must be pre-book as a table of four or six.  The Tea will include a selection of savories, sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and a selection of cakes and sweets. A vegetarian option will be available if requested when booking.
Funds raised will go towards a research trust for obstetric and gynaecological research, to help improve the health of women and babies worldwide.  The research is aimed at improving the outcome in situations like infertility / IVF, Genetic diseases, Reccurent miscarraiges, diseases of pregnant women and Preterm births.
