Ahuroa Hall Committee update

Just to keep everyone up to date with the Ahuroa hall Committee’s doings. We have exciting new plans to update the Ahuroa Hall.

Our fund raising for the Hall for this year was very successful. We ran a Show Jumping day at the Matakhana Country Park using Kim Johnstone’s gear.

We manage to raise $1500 for the hall funds.

Many thanks to those locals who helped to make this possible.

Firstly Ahuroa Feeds who sponsored the cost of ribbons. David Bullock our ENZ S/J Judge. Melinda Bennett our writer and Poppy (Dione Wood) our gate keeper and First Aid person. Nicky and Tessa Berger who organized and ran the Sausage sizzle.

The backpackers Peatr, Morritz, Timo and Simone who helped with the building working bee and the on the day.

Hall Committee members Jo and Christine Bullock using their years of Show Jumping Event organizing experience to make sure the day ran well.

Congratulation to the Ahuroa riders who collected many placing ribbons.

Ahuroa riders seen collecting ribbons were Sorella de Meulemester, Dani-Jane Cole Joanna Bullock Rosa Keskic and Rachel Fletcher.
